Route 66 never disappoints

(PHOTO: Open stretch of Route 66 near Seligman, Arizona)

We love road trips.
What we like best are the characters we meet along the way, and the unusual places we stumble onto. On our way from the Grand Canyon to Las Vegas, we decided to take a jaunt off the Interstate and travel a section of Route 66 in Arizona. A previous trip on Route 66 took us through Oatman along a pretty hair-raising road.
This time we opted for a tamer section beginning in Seligman,Arizona.

As for characters to meet along the way, we weren't disappointed.

Now meet BOSTON,

Although not on Route 66, we took a side trip to Chloride. Definitely worth the stop..... Here is an example of the yard art that can
be found - some planned, and some not.
